ACR Express

The proposed ACR Express service will operate initially Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. As ridership develops, more days and more frequent service can be added. The service area proposed will begin in Starkville, Mississippi with stops along US Highway 82 at Columbus, Reform, Gordo, North Fork and Tuscaloosa, feeding into the existing Bessemer and Birmingham routes.

The service provides a new reliable, inexpensive transportation option for the feeder rural cities to Birmingham and Tuscaloosa for University of Alabama students and employees.
